On June 27, Habitat for Humanity celebrated the dedication of two homes to two families.For the first time that the affiliate had two houses built and dedicated at the same time - a result of partnerships within the community that allowed them to stretch to serve at home more familiesThe 1006 SW Meadowlark Drive in Alexandria become home to the family of Scott Nohra, Primus Christie and their daughter, Sophie.
Sponsorship of Cullen Home center of this house was a new partnership with HFHDC and made it possible for the subsidiary to be able to serve four families this year.
The fact that the Cullens are not only financially supported the house, but also provided the labor to build it allowed two homes to be built simultaneously, which would not be possible using only volunteers for Habitat Managers and site supervisors.
"We are very grateful to Tim and Kathie Cullen and the team for their partnership in building this house," said Anderson. "It was an answer to prayer for us to serve more families and has also been a great experience working with them in the service of this family - the work and care they showed was a real gift!"

At first we thought it was a very good organization - after the involvement seriously, we discovered what an organization is truly great .
